About the Founder and CEoShermaine "Shar" Marshall the ProfessionalShermaine "Shar" Marshall is a seasoned Human Resources professional with over 30 years of corporate experience. Determined to keep the promise that she made to her children to go back to school, Shermaine earned an Associates Degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix in 2010 and was on the fast track to earning her Bachelor's Degree, when an unexpected family tragedy derailed her from achieving this goal. It was during this time that Shar's teenage son, Leo, was killed and as a result of this emotionally devastating event, pursuit of education was put on the back burner. The grief of burying her child took her "breath away" and left her struggling to put the pieces of her life back together. With the help of God and her family, Shar was able to recover and start living her life once again. Now armed with a new found enthusiasm, she continued her educational pursuit and has accomplished her goal of earning her Bachelor's Degree from Bellevue University in June 2016. An accomplishment that she celebrates as her "30 year Degree" because it was exactly 30 years ago that she made the decision to put her education on hold in order to fulfill the responsibilities of being a wife and mother. Shermaine now aspires to become a licensed esthetician which will allow her to combine her love for makeup artistry along with providing her clients with the ultimate skin care "LIFE MAKEUP" experience.
During her time in corporate America, she has held several positions ranging from Executive Administrative Assistant to Human Resources Expert. However, Shar has always aspired to pursue one of her lifelong passions of becoming a makeup artist and esthetician as an entrepreneurial endeavor. However, it was not until 2015, after getting laid off for the fourth time in her professional career, that she made the decision to finally surrender all to God, step out on faith and pursue what she felt she has been purposed to do. As a result of her willingness to step outside of her comfort zone, "Changing Faces Makeup Artistry"(CFMUA) was born! The mission and goal of CFMUA is to not just create another beautiful face but to also create a beautiful person from the INSIDE-OUT! Changing Faces Makeup Artistry is more than make up for the face, it's LIFE Makeup! |

When asked, Shermaine would describe herself as a "sensational human being who is forever young at heart!" She is a wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend to many. She is blessed with a loving and supportive husband, Christopher Marshall. Shar has 3 amazing children, Jermaine, Jasmine and Leo (RIP). She is originally from Laplace, LA, a small town just outside of New Orleans but currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia. When she is not studying or pursuing her passion of makeup artistry, Shar enjoys spending time with her many friends and family, and partakes in such hobbies as writing poetry, creating spoken word, and working out.
